Amy Tan, a writer said, “Our ancestors planted trees so that we could enjoy the shade.” People like your grandfather was one of the tree planters who paid the price so that we could enjoy better lives. We must honour their legacy by continuing to tell their stories so that it becomes embedded in Canadian history.

I don’t know if it is helpful to anyone, but I am taking the 7 a.m. ferry from Victoria and driving to Convention. lorene has worked as hard as anyone on the “you be the judge “campaign.she went around the province during our labour disputes and met with highway maintenance workers and stopped and listened to what they had to say .her encouraging words of support were always appreciated.she has always been enthusastic about helping and complimenting component 10 members on there hard work she is always there when you need her and that in my view are good leadeship skills. as a component 10 executive member i fully support lorene in her drive to be re-elected as vp of the bcgeu

That what I love about you Lorene, you are always walking the talk and fighting for all the important things to make this world a better place. I have experience the good work you have done on the Education Committee and the History Project. You take an interest in everything and get educated in it so you are better able to educate us, defend and fight for everyone. I am proud that you are one of our Vice Presidents. You work hard, stand up and fight for what is right and encourage us to do the same. Our medical system is clearly something we all need to get involved in because it affects us all. You are a great mentor and a good example for us to follow. Your website is excellent and providing the links for us is very helpful and resourceful. I have add your website to my desktop to keep me well informed and to readily access the important links. Thanks for all your hard work and for trying to keep us connected in so many ways. Lorene you definitely have my vote. Keep up the good work!. Awesome job! Awesome person! Awesome VP!!!
