Stop Violence Against Women: Remember & Take Action on December 6 and every day
About 60 people who braved the cold for the 6th Annual December 6 Candlelight Vigil in Surrey for the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. Every December 6, we remember 14 young women murdered because of their gender, murdered and missing indigenous women, and all women and girls who have been murdered or survived abuse whether physical, emotional or sexual. We must stop violence against women.Thank you to our speakers and everyone who participated and supported the event.
