7th Annual Community March Against Racism

March 22, 2014

The 7th Annual Community March Against Racism took place on Saturday March 22, 2014 in Vancouver. People gathered at Victory Square, Cambie and Hastings, Unceded xʷməθkwəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ territories. After some speeches and music, the marchers made their way through the streets of Vancouver including a few stops at intersections and at the federal immigration offices before finishing at the Vancouver Public Library plaza. I was proud to be representing labour (BCGEU and Chair of the BC Federation of Labour Human Rights Committee) as well as the Japanese Canadian community (JCCA Human Rights Committee). Justice for all! Solidarity!
